NASCAR iRacing Series

Friday Open – NiS – Homestead
- Mike- P19- the first run. I wasn’t too bad. I came up through there, but got involved in a wreck not much damage. It was never the same after that once I lost track position. I pretty much ran in the back. I was lucky to get P 19.
- David – P wrecked late by bone head moves on a restart
- tony -DNF same ole song and dance, wrong place wrong time early on wrecking in front of me and couldnt avoid it.
- Brad- P6 after Starting p7. I had really good long run speed but the race did not fall the way it needed to. Another yellow during green flag stops would throw the long run out the window again. Faded at the end to finish p6. Shout out to Drew Blaze for the clean run to the checkered fighting for 5th.
- Kyle – P 18 started P9 Just didn’t have the car I needed to be strong. Running in these higher splits is teaching a whole new race craft that I am trying to adjust.
Sunday Open- NiS – Homestead
- David – P 8 faded bad on a long run from the lead
- Tony – P7 had a decent clean race the i could run about anywhere and was actually passing cars middle and end of long runs.
- Greg -P3 – Lucked into setup coming in at the end
- Kyle – P19 started p-19 Car felt tight all race. Couldn’t get it to turn. Was able to drive up to 6th for a portion of the race but tires faded and newer tire cars charged up and I had to just ride it out until the next caution. Tried to use strategy and save my last set of tires to the end. 13 to go I take my last set and hope it is enough for a strong finish. Greg and Tyler pitted the caution before and took the track position and I just didn’t have enough laps to work my way back up to them finishing P-19 after 3 Homestead starts this week and finishing on the lead lap in all of them. I must say I am proud of myself.
Sunday Fixed- NiS – Homestead
- Mike- P19-started 23rd worked my way up to run as high as P5 but had a few incidents that put me back and this was not able to move up after that ended up getting wrecked near the end
Wednesday Open -NiS – Martinsville
- Mike- P9- ran as high as P4 until somebody sideswiped me and sent me to the back got involved in an incident where David got taken out, but I was able to continue on and finish P9!
- David – P wrecked out late
- Chris – P 5 We tried a strategy to keep the Sim Wraps Red Waldron’s Furniture Chevrolet up front. I was running 10th when I picked up 8x in incident points, so I dropped to the back to avoid further issues. Took fresh tires at halfway and worked my way back into the top 10. A few check-ups later, I had to serve a pass-through penalty. But luck was on my side when I got the Lucky Dog with 15 laps to go. From there, the Premier Set-up Shops car really came to life, and I powered my way up to 5th, just behind my iRacers Lounge teammate, Justin Pearson. We rubbing doors on the cool down lap as we both celebrated our finish and Brad Wrenn’s win! Big congrats to Brad Wrenn for his win in his split
- Brad- P1 WINNER!Started p4 and stayed in the top 5-ish the whole night. The cautions were horrible but once out front I was able to control the restarts and led the most laps. First NiS win since 2016. Really have to give a huge shout out to the guys on this team. All of you are great encouragers and that really helps when we have races that don’t go the way we wanted. The setups this week from Premier Racing are on fire. Would have loved for this thing to have had a long run because I really think I had the field covered.
Thursday Open- NiS – Martinsville
- Mike- P5!- started in the back ran around 5th to 10th. Most of the race was involved in several different incidents with about two minutes damage never got it fixed lost a lap at one point and got a lucky dog, but got to clean towards the end and finished in a nice respectful P5
Official Series
FIA F4 Americas
- Kyle – P11 started P12 spun on lap 1 and just spent the race trying to catch up.
A Open
- Brad W – P12 (Martinsville) Started 6 and stayed in top 6-8 positions till final restart. Never pitted since we had 13 cautions. Green-white-checkerd had me in p3 heading into T3 to take the white only to get driven through from the car in p5! Really stupid race that was completely the fault of a handful of drivers. I can attest, races don’t get any better the higher the iRating.
IMSA
- Hall – P3 at a Sebring
- Brad W – P10 Sebring – finished where I deserved.
- William W- P5. Tossed away a podium with 2 mistakes. Auto fuel was not on, and spun the car in turn 4.
Sebring 12 Hours
- William W, Brad W and Jacob J. – P5 Really had a very clean race for iRacing specials. William started the car and did a great job for the first three hours. I jumped in and with about 8 laps to go lost connection to the server. Jacob jumped in and from there one we were fighting to regain lost time due to the disconnect tow. A big shout out to William and Jacob fr having more speed than me which helped to get us back in contention for top 5. Being off cycle actually played to our advantage towards the end but had that not happened, I’m confident we would have podiumed the event.
- Tom, Kyle, David – wrecked. We’re running good, then has a severe mishap in sunset. Started the race behind the whole field cause two GTP’s wrecked before even getting to turn 1.
Indycar iRacing Series
- Tom D – (Saturday 1st race) – P8 ran up and down all race. Got contact 3 different times and had to replace my wing 3 times. Was able to work myself back.
ARCA
- Kyle – P P10 started P18 save save save that is the strategy for the arca cars at Charlotte.
League / Hosted Races
Grass Roots Racing GTP/GT3 League
- William W – P2. Fast car but qualified 5th. Start on the outside so lost 5th in turn 1. Spent the rest of the race trying to get forward. Would have been 3rd but P2 had an unfortunate tangle with a lapped car.
Hosted-
- Ellis – BMW M2 at Summit point started dead last drove up to P6
- Draft masters GEN seven at Talladega got wrecked out right away and finished near the back
